Here at Botanica at Ceiba Holistica we honor Earth's ancient wisdom. We celebrate and share these plant allies for healing and wellness. 

Ceiba Holistica was founded in 2021 by Amylisse Torres-Watts to provide wellness services of Reiki, Biofield Tuning and Flower Essence Therapy. In 2023, she added a small online retail section to her wellness studio and Botánica at Ceiba Holistica was born. This addition to her services was borne out of a desire to make flower essences and herbal remedies more accessible to her community. She is commited to spreading the benefits of using plant medicine to achieve radiant wellness and health.

The Story Behind the Name

Why Ceiba?

The Ceiba (pronounced say-bah) tree or La Ceiba is sacred to the Taino, Mayan, and many other indigenous cultures. La Ceiba is considered to be the tree of life that connects all living things and is a symbol of transformation. Her large roots grow deep into the earth, and her branches extend up towards the sky, connecting heaven and earth. Using Ceiba in my business name is one of the many ways in which I proudly honor my Taino ancestors. 
 
Why Holistica?

A holistic approach to healing looks at the whole person - mind, body, spirit, and emotions. Reiki, Biofield Tuning, and flower essence therapy work to treat all these areas and provide a balanced approach to healing and wellness.
